# What are WERC's membership policies?
**Worldwide ERC® Membership Policy: Real Estate Appraiser Members**
You must be currently active in making residential independent fee appraisals. Either you or your affiliates must actively operate in or have knowledge of property values in all of the cities listed in your application. When conducting an appraisal, you shall attest in writing that you have either inspected the property or have reviewed the appraisal report. If you have not performed either of these acts, you certify that your clients understand and agree when the appraisal is ordered that your signature will not appear on the appraisal report. The professional societies in which you have indicated membership may be notified to verify appraisal designations. WERC® requires complete and accurate information to be supplied by its Members, both for its records and for inclusion in the Directory and/or other publications. The submission of false or misleading information will lead to disciplinary action up to and including suspension from membership. Listing in the online Directory does not constitute endorsement by Worldwide ERC. No refunds for cancellation of membership will be given after the start of the membership.
**Worldwide ERC® Membership Policy: Real Estate Broker Company Members**
Real Estate Broker Company membership is held by the company and therefore cannot be transferred from one company to another. The contact person must be in charge of employee relocation services and must obtain permission from the owner of the company to represent the company with regard to its membership and listing in the online Directory. WERC® requires complete and accurate information to be supplied by its Members, both for its records and for inclusion in the Directory and/or other publications. The submission of false or misleading information will lead to disciplinary action up to and including suspension from membership. Listing in the online Directory does not constitute endorsement by WERC®. No refunds for cancellation of membership will be given after the start of the membership.
**Worldwide ERC® Membership Policy: Mobility Service & Relocation Management Company Members**
Mobility Service and Relocation Management Company membership is held by the company and therefore cannot be transferred from one company to another. The contact person must obtain permission from the owner of the company to represent the company with regard to its membership and listing in the online Directory. WERC® requires complete and accurate information to be supplied by its Members, both for its records and for inclusion in the Directory and/or other publications. The submission of false or misleading information will lead to disciplinary action up to and including suspension from membership. Listing in the online Directory does not constitute endorsement by WERC®. No refunds for cancellation of membership will be given after the start of the membership.
**Worldwide ERC® Membership Policy: Individual Members**
Individual membership is owned by the individual and therefore can be transferred from one company to another. Worldwide ERC® requires complete and accurate information to be supplied by its Members, both for its records and for inclusion in the Directory and/or other publications. The submission of false or misleading information will lead to disciplinary action up to and including suspension from membership. No refunds for cancellation of membership will be given after the start of the membership.
